WHAT'S THE REAL SCORE?

Could typhoons and earthquakes be the reason for the
crumbling of these ruins? Let's examine the real cause.

As the building further weakens in certain sections, the inevitable happens: Floor sag, walls lean, and steel bars bend under the reduced load-bearing capacity of these members.

Today, many sections of Middleside Barracks can be likened to a house of cards waiting to be blown down by strong winds.  Earthquakes likewise pose a very real threat to these structures.

Is it then wise to put up catwalks and little ramps within these structures to turn Middleside Barracks into a multi-storey Tourist Walkthrough? Regardless of the intention to shore up these ruins, I personally think that this is not a good idea.
